In the middle of nowhere

From Luang Prabang we went on a adventurous trip to the North of Laos. To this place we only could get by boat because there are no streets around. Only the fantastic nature and the spirit of silence. This place is called Muong ngoi.

This little village next to the river has Now enough basic guest houses to stay what is good on the one side and not on the other. The people, especialy the children still have their naturall spirit but it is influenced more and more. But we enjoid the week we staied there a lot and met many very nice people.

In one day we decided to walk straight into the jungle to visit a small village on the countriside. We walked along and over small rivers, through rice fields and many many cows and buffalos which were really friendly. And in this village surrounded by the mountains we could feel the peace we were looking for. We met some villagers and there small monkey, so sweet. It is amazing to see how they build there houses and the stones they need for that. It was beautiful and very hot, I dont know how much, but I was always looking for the door out of the sauna. And then in the night it happened, ab big cloud appeared on heaven and brought us rain wow I didnt feel it for such a long time. And the following days it was not that hot anymore.

Leon even found a football and a few footballplayers and they had a great time with the laos children. After one week we went back to Luang prabang to zivilisation with flowing hot water and internet.

Yes, after such a trip you can really enjoi the luxury of that. Now we are on the way to the south and still happy. Enjoi your time everybody
